BUDGETING TEMPLATE
My reliable budgeting spreadsheet will help you monitor your spending, plan for the future and budget for what’s important to you. The coding has already been inputted, so all you need to do is add your monthly figures for the year ahead. The spreadsheet will total your spending, highlight how much money you have left each month and carry any unspent money over to the following month. The current layout is set up to help you budget and forecast from January 2022 until January 2023. However, after January 2023 you can simply relabel the months, re-save and start again.
This template is my pride and joy. I have put a lot of work into it and it has completely changed my life. Hopefully you find it as useful as I do.

FAQ
Will I be able to use the spreadsheet on my phone or tablet?
Yes. I recommend saving the spreadsheet on to Google Sheets while you're on your desktop. Then, download the Google Sheets app to your phone or tablet. This will allow you to access the spreadsheet anywhere, anytime. The app is available on the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store.
What if I work for myself or my income is always changing?
You can still use the budget template, as the income amount can be different for each month.
I have multiple income streams. How can I reflect that in the spreadsheet?
My suggestion is to add your income total in the income cell, then above the cell, break down your income streams to keep track of where your money comes from. If you need to, you can add more rows as you want, without disturbing the sums. A visual example can be seen on my Twitter page.
Is there a video that shows people how to use it?
Yes. There is a YouTube video showing people how to use it in detail and there are also videos available on my Twitter page. When you purchase the spreadsheet, the first tab also includes a set of instructions - so you'll have all the help you need to get started.
How do you keep track of the money you have spent on items like groceries, food, etc.?
I recommend downloading an app on your phone called Spending Tracker (available on Google Play and the App Store). Each time I buy something, I add it to the app (which takes less than 10 seconds). The app totals the spend for each category, which means when it's time to update your spread sheet, you will know exactly how much you've spent on different things (which saves having to look through bank statements regularly). Just make sure you remember to add to the app every time you buy something!
What if I disturb the Excel equations?
All Excel coding has been included in the grey areas of the template. As long as you don't amend that grey figures, you'll be fine. The only bits of information you should amend are the:
Income amounts
Regular Purchase amounts
Extra Purchase amounts
Do you accept card payments?
Yes. You can pay using your card or PayPal.

Returns and refunds are not offered
